Introduction | Monthly Spotlight | Blog
This month's "Spotlight" product "Doing Business by the Good Book" is an excellent read authored by David Steward, the Chairman & CEO of World Wide Technology. Along with New York Times best-selling author Robert L. Shook, Mr. Steward presents 52 lessons straight from the Bible that not only provide guidelines that are great for conducting business, but also hold significant importance concerning personal moral character and conduct. With a foreword by former President George H. W. Bush, this book has drawn the attention of leaders and CEO’s around the globe. I was greatly touched by this book and agree with E. Stanley O’Neal, former Chairman, CEO, and President of Merrill Lynch when he said "The David Steward story inspires me. I admire his courage, vision, hard work, and talent. Steward’s deep faith has played such an important role in his success, and more significantly, in his life."
"Doing Business by the Good Book" is a compilation of practical and applicable lessons learned over the life of a man who from the ground up built the largest African-American company in the U.S.; a firm that has grossed over $3 billion and is still growing. His story, his challenges, and perseverance is an example to us all and I hope that you read this book and apply these lessons to your personal and business life
